Electrical Engineer Role

We have a superb opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a well-established business, we are based in Liverpool. We manufacture and overhaul a range of electrical items; including transformers, panels and motors.

We are looking for an individual who is eager and open to learning new skills as works will not be restricted to electrical jobs but may also involve mechanical and assembly work as necessary. The Electrical Engineer’s role will be involved in any electrical related activity, this could be troubleshooting, fault finding, installations of transformers, control panels, motors or obsolete components.

We are a small, well established company and we are looking for a candidate who has ambition to expand their experience, is hardworking, versatile and able to multitask. The candidate will be based from our site in Speke, Liverpool.

The Role

  • Undertaking electrical works to a high standard
  • Reporting to Production Manager to complete engineering projects
  • Ensuring that projects are completed within agreed deadlines
  • Meeting contractual requirements to commercial, technical and safety standards Desirable Requirements
  • 17th edition qualified
  • The Engineer will have strong troubleshooting skills for technical issues
  • Full driving licence
  • Strong work ethic and willing to learn from others
  • Be able to work away from home
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Full-time/Permanent
  • Based: Liverpool
  • Salary £23,000 – £28,000 dependent on experience
  • 20 days per annum plus bank holidays
  • Hours: 8.30am – 4:30pm
  • Benefits: Pension
