Our team

Our in-house transformer technical team can help to design, modify and reverse engineer transformers to your specification; this includes transformer rewinds up to 1MVA. To complement our in-house repair services, our team also offer an electrical installation, reactive inspection and testing service across the UK. Our team have experience of manufacturing and repairing single phase, three phase, current, voltage and auto transformers. Having manufactured custom-built transformers for over 30 years we have a vast amount of experience with transformer design, this ensures we can repair all types of transformers with quick turnarounds. Our transformer team are available 7 days a week; giving you peace of mind in any breakdown situation. Our team make certain that at all times, we have the appropriate amount of stock and factory capacity to ensure we are always there for you when we are needed.

Transformer: 2.2KW three phase auto transformer Lead time: 7 days Three phase transformer rewind

Our customer had a critical breakdown on a 2.2KW auto transformer which powered a major piece of plant machinery. Our engineers carried out a full inspection which resulted in the transformer requiring a full rewind. Our transformer team stripped, rewound all three phases, rebuilt and had the transformer back onsite within 7 days. This ensured the minimum amount of downtime for our customer. Before starting the repair, our technical team offered the customer a written report on the critical failure of the transformer. Once the repair was complete, the customer was issued with working drawings and test certificates as required.
