How long does a transformer rewind take?

Transformer rewinding and repair work requires design engineers with a high level of experience. We have a full time engineering staff that specialises in transformer design and repair.

Depending on the damage incurred to the transformer, it can take 3 to 14 days to get a full rewind back into service. Our team are available 7 days a week on request. This provides peace of mind should you have a transformer breakdown. We understand how important it is to get your equipment back up and running as quickly as possible.

If you have had a critical breakdown and a rewind is not possible, we can also work from drawings and winding specifications if required. This saves time and ensures your product is obsolescence proof.
