Who do we manufacture transformers for?

Our client base ranges from multinational companies to sole-traders. Our team design and manufacture transformers up to 500kVA. Having in-house design capabilities, we custom build transformers for specific industry standards.

We manufacture transformers for the Rail, Offshore, Defence and Commercial sectors. Each sector calls for unique requirements which need the specialist technical knowledge which our team possesses. For 34 years we have been manufacturing transformers for the UK Ministry of Defence. We have manufactured transformers for prestigious projects, including the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers.

Having built the business on our technical ability, we have also worked with the likes of Tubelines, Unipart rail, BAE Systems, Total UK to name a few.

Transformer rewinds and maintenance

Transformer failure cannot be predicted. When a transformer does fail, a fast transformer rewind service is critical to limit downtime.

To resolve a persistent problem with a particular transformer our team can offer onsite technical help. Furthermore, partial or full rewinds can be completed at our premises in Liverpool.

Our team understand transformer failure is a priority job. With all rewinds, we ensure that the shortest lead time possible is given. Also, our Electrical team can put in place a maintenance strategy from scratch or work with your team to develop a program using existing data. When combined with our other repair and maintenance services, this allows us to provide a complete repair solution.
