Overhaul

Sometimes linear motors have been in service for a long time and have developed a fault. This can happen for varies reasons; bad water flow, damage to the linear head, or old age. Our team carry out a full inspection accordingly.

Linear Motor Controls

Our linear motors can be supplied with custom built control units. This allows for variable power to the motors and alarms for water flow failure. Each unit can be installed onto a trolley or as a stand alone unit depending on application.

Manufacture

All linear motor equipment is manufactured in the UK, using high quality materials. We have the design capabilities to manufacture linear motors to most specifications.

Trolley Arrangements

We manufacture full linear motor solutions. This includes carriages and trolleys for supporting linear motor beams. Each project requires a different application so each solution is custom made to your specification.

Where are we based?

We are a proud British company who is  based in Liverpool, UK. From this location we supply worldwide to the glass market.

What does a linear motor do?

Within the float glass manufacturing process, linear motors are utilised in the tin baths. This gives some control of the temperature profile across the ribbon width. By controlling the tin flow this can be achieved and is normally controlled by using linear motors.

Is there a minimum order?

No. Through experience and innovation we are able to offer custom made solutions for one off projects through to larger projects.

Do I need a control panel?

Not all customers require control panels to control their linear motor. This is due to systems already being in place at their manufacturing facility. However; this can only be determined by the system you are installing the linear motors into. Contact us for more information.
